QUALITY MANAGER
JOB DESCRIPTION:
- Should have strong interpersonal skills with the ability to interact with employees at all levels of the organization, as well as externally with customers.
- Maintaining high levels of understanding of statistical processes and best practices of QA/QC.
- Providing internal education on QA/QC.
- Familiar with QMS, ISO 9001, ISO 45001 and ISO 14001
- Investigate root causes of quality issues, develop effective solutions, and implement preventive measures to avoid recurrence.
- Effectively maintains the project inspection schedule as per the Quality Plan.
- Communicates and works directly with Operations Manager, Production Supervisors, General Managers, and Purchasing/Finance/ HR as necessary.
- Responsible for making suggestions to management, using professional judgment, and offering professional advice to the
- Company regarding Quality, Safety, Environmental, and Production Efficiency and Effectiveness.
- Anticipates the problem and makes enquiries to confirm the existence of a problem whether schedule, technical, sub vendor deliveries.
- Maintain and control of all documentation and written inspection/inventories records of all Misc. Rigging Hand Tools such as, Chain Falls, Lever Hoists, Scaffolding Material & Ladder, Hooks Power tools etc.
- Create, collect, organize, and manage documentation of records, data processing, successful retrieval systems and methods relating to Quality/Safety/Environmental
- Ensure all processes are in working order and meet safety and quality standards, reducing scrap and safety incidents as well as production downtime.
- Overall organization, communication, and coordination of critical information as necessary relating to Quality (both internally and between company and suppliers, etc.) Control of the latest versions of Industry Standards and Codes relevant to wire ropes.
JOB REQUIREMENTS:
- 5-15 years' experience in the Materials, Manager, Inspection & Vendor Inspection Coordination.
- Engineering graduate with a bachelor's degree.
Qualifications:
- Good written and communication skills.
- Detail oriented person who has the ability to multitask.
- Proficient with Microsoft Office products.
